How to Play Fruit Merge

Learn the controls first, then focus on one simple rule: every drop should leave useful space for the next two or three fruits.

The basic goal

Drop fruits into the board and bring two identical fruits together. A successful pair becomes the next fruit in the evolution chain and awards points.

The run becomes harder as larger fruits occupy more space. You need to keep the board organized while preventing settled fruits from staying above the danger line.

Desktop and mobile controls

  • Desktop: move the pointer to choose a horizontal drop position, then click to release the fruit.
  • Mobile: tap the horizontal position where you want the fruit to fall. One tap chooses the position and releases the fruit.
  • Use the game controls for restart, sound, sharing, and fullscreen or immersive play.

Use the next-fruit queue

Fruit Merge shows the upcoming queue so you can plan beyond the current drop. Before releasing a fruit, check whether the next pieces can complete a pair or whether you need temporary storage.

Avoid the danger line

A brief movement through the upper area is not the same as a settled stack. The real danger is allowing the pile to remain too high. When the board approaches the line, prioritize height reduction over a risky long-term setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can different fruits merge?

No. Only two fruits of the same level can merge into the next fruit.

How do I drop a fruit on mobile?

Tap the horizontal position where you want the fruit to fall. You do not need to drag it.

Why did my run end?

The run ends when settled fruits remain in the danger zone for too long.
