Fruit Merge Scoring Guide

Points are awarded when a merge creates a new fruit. Larger results are worth more, but a high-value merge is useful only if the board remains playable afterward.

Merge values

  • Strawberry 10 · Grape 20 · Orange 40 · Apple 80 · Peach 160
  • Pineapple 320 · Watermelon 640 · Grapefruit 1,280 · Melon 2,560 · Dragon Fruit 5,120

How points are added

When two identical fruits combine, the score value of the new fruit is added to the run. Dropping a fruit by itself does not award that new-fruit merge value.

Why similar runs can have different totals

The final score depends on every completed merge, not only the largest fruit reached. Two players can reach the same level through different routes and therefore finish with different totals.

Score for survival, not one move

A lower organized board creates more future scoring opportunities. When choosing between a risky high-value merge and a safer height-reducing move, the safer option often produces the better final score.
